Peregrine Heathcote is a young and exceptionally talented painter. At 12 he was the youngest member at the Heatherly School in Chelsea and completed his education in Florence, Italy at the Fine Art Academy. He began his professional career as a portrait artist and has completed over 100 commissions including Prince Jeffrey of Brunei, the screenplay writer and Oscar winner Julian Fellowes, Cilla Black, the Sultan of Oman and the CEO of Barclays Bank. In 2005 he appeared on BBC1 Star Portraits with Rolf Harris and was accepted for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition. His many solo exhibitions as well as group ones, such as the annual Royal Society of Portrait Painters exhibition, mean that his pictures are hung in private collections all over the world.
His latest paintings are a new departure and have received a rapturous response, with several solo exhibitions already planned with Christie’s and the Albermarle Gallery, London. His contemporary use of calm, elegant colours and his mix of romanticism and nostalgic realism result in paintings with exceptional appeal for today’s collector.
