This was my third visit to this stunning loch and the first time that the conditions and water levels were just right. I have a preferred spot not too far away where I park my van to allow for an early start and was setting up at my preferred location well before the sun began to raise its head. The misty conditions over the loch and the odd break in the cloud were perfect for the image I was trying to capture, though this is one of the rare occasions where I added a small level of filtration in post production (I don't carry cooling filters with me to site now I have gone digital) to cool the image to a desired level.
