Location: Assynt, Scotland
The west coast of Scotland at it most beautiful. It was eleven in the evening before I descended the hill and I had climbed up at two in the afternoon. I had a book with me and simply enjoyed a perfect afternoon in a perfect setting. Even in May you have to dress up pretty warm when you are at any height though, and this was no exception. I had waited a long time for a day like this and I was going to enjoy it.
The light itself only came good for photography for a short period of time through the evening, but I was ready for it when it came, and managed to shoot of a series of different views, each slightly different and each with its own signature. What a day. For me, these are the times of which I dream.
